After a classic drive from Chamonix it’s great to be back in the Lyngen alps and Tromsö. Starting directly with a long weekend of skiing together with four Swedish skiers and a Swiss aspirant guide (Andrew Lanham) who joined me for the ride up here. We skied from the summits of Storgalten, Goalsevarri, Stetinden and Rundfjellet in three great days.
Also staying out here in Nordlenangen for the coming weeks together with my family. Having groups coming and going during the spring for good skitouring, fresh seafood, newly built sauna and more…
Starting of with coffee in the nice Cafe in La Palud before skiing the Toula and the Marbrees yesterday. Skiing with Andreas Fransson, Morgan Sahlen and Davide (Valle d’aosta), was great. Thanks Boys!

During the last couple of weeks I’ve been guiding and climbing under clear blue skies. At last the snow is falling outside the window and there is good possibilities for some powder skiing the coming days…

I’ve spent the last 4 days with Klas and Jonas from Karlstad, Sweden. We’ve skied in Verbier and Chamonix finding mostly firm and fun skiing. The skitouring in Verbier gave untracked powder for several chutes and todays skiing on the Grand Montets was great…Thank’s boys for a good weekend! Jimmy

Been working now for some days here in Chamonix and it’s great to be back on the skis. Last couple of days has been spent with a bunch from the North of Norway and we’ve skied in the Chamonix area and Cormayeur so far. The snowpack is a bit wind blown in most places at the moment so tomorrow we will try our luck in Verbier.
