Spring has arrived in the Lyngen alps even if the conditions often is like winter up high. At Ascent Descent “The Lyngen Mountains Guides” we´ve had a  record season in many ways. We´ve had more bookings than before, more skiing by boat and the worst weather season ever in The Lyngen alps. It´s been plenty of good mountain memories and good skiing but all those days with clear blue sky that we are used to has been reduced this winter. The good thing is that we still have a good snow pack and are ready for the good days that comes with the calmer spring season. We keep on going to the 31st of May out here in Nord Lenangen in the Northern Lyngen alps. So for us it´s still mid season!

Great skiing back to the Ascent Descent Ski Lodge last week. On the opposite side of the fjord at the bridge we have one of the best locations for the skiing in Lyngen! Still a few free dates in the last two weeks of May this year. Photo: Jimmy Halvardsson

One of our great days this season with warm weather and perfect spring skiing. The new van is an upgrade for sure! Photo: Jimmy Halvardsson
