As usual we get a lot of mixed weather in the Lyngen alps and Tromsø this time of the year. Last weeks has been exceptional with lot´s of heavy storms and avalanche activity. Sticking to low angled skiing up high or tree skiing down low has been the key and the snow has been amazing. We´ve had a few days of sun in between lately and being out guiding in the sun after weeks of heavy snowfall is almost unrealistic. The season at AscentDescent Ski Lodge in the Lyngen alps is about to start, opening the doors on the 1st of March.
