Couloirs La Grave

Skiing for a couple of days with Robert and Trevor from Canada in La Grave. The top parts of the area was pretty good but the lower sections got crusty from some really warm days earlier in the week. The warm weather created avalanches in almost all the classic couloirs down to the road. Luckily it cleared and it was nice to be back in La Grave meeting some old and new friends. Had a wonderful stay at Rasmus, Lotta and Carolina’s flat in La Terasse. And also thanks to Linus who drove down from Chamonix for a day and Pelle at skiers lodge for supervising..

La Grave

Skiing in La Grave for the first day of this season. The system had been closed for two days and opened today with clear skies. Skiing with Rasmus and Steffe we found great snow all over the mountain and finished off with a run down to the Freaux village. Expecting more snow now and it looks like it’s gonna be tree skiing for a couple of days. Tomorrow clients will arrive and we hope for great tree skiing with lots of powder…
