Ski season started in Lyngen and Tromsø

The winter started the way it should start here in Lyngen and Tromsø. Lot’s of snow right away, we just hope it continues like this. Just back from a good Ice climbing course in Abisko we went out skiing for the first time this season, and the snow was really good aswell. This means that the Avalanche awareness courses in Tromsø are ready to be booked and that our Ice climbing course in two weeks will have even better conditions. We provide avalanche courses in Lyngen and Tromsø at the moment, weekdays and weekends, on request.

Ice climbing with Ascent Descent

It’s snowing in Lyngen and Tromsø!

As the temperatures dropped the snow came in the Lyngen alps and Tromsø. We’ve had a really nice fall with lot’s of sun and crisp days but now it seems to be over. It’s supposed to snow for next week aswell wich means that the ski season has arrived (for now). It normally comes and goes a little bit but this snow will stay for a while it looks like.

Already next week we start the ice climbing season with a course in Abisko in Sweden and if the snow sticks around we also start avalanche courses in the beginning of november. These will be done on request in the Lyngen alps and Tromsø area. Our ski touring weeks in Lyngen starts to get booked aswell so it’s time to book to get the dates you want.
